The Impossible Project – The Re-invention of Instant Film

The Impossible Project - Polaroid Factory

The Impossible Project has acquired the equipment from Polaroid’s factory in the Netherlands, and is planning on developing a “new product with new characteristics, consisting of new optimised components, produced with a streamlined modern setup.” They will spend twelve months in research and development before beginning production. If you are a regular reader, you will know how much I love Polaroid cameras, so needless to say I am very excited about this! They will soon be adding information to their (nicely designed) website about how we can help, but in the meantime they are asking for us to cross our fingers for them, and to get in touch if you are an expert and can help out with components. How exciting!
